EU Commissioner visits Limerick and speaks on LANIR Project

Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, EU Commissioner for Research, Innovation & Science talks with Dr. Ning Liu, Dr. Christophe Silien and Dr Tofail Syed, about the LANIR Project, at the Industry Day held at the University of Limerick on 14th October 2013.
During her keynote address the Commissioner made reference to the LANIR project and added "Research not only tackles the big challenges that society is facing, but can also develop local economies and create local jobs.” The LANIR project includes six SMEs within its eleven partners and has a strong industry focus.
